My craft blends the raw heat of pyrography with soft, natural fabrics like suedes, felts, wool, and leathers. Each piece is a tribute to the untamed spirit of the Australian countryside, made to stand out with its timeless, modern rustic chic vibe.

At Ginny’s Fire and Thread, I specialize in hand-knotted macrame hat hangers and holders, alongside wearable art featuring custom-burned designs. From bold accessories to practical décor, each creation carries a bit of the outback with it—wild, warm, and full of character.

When I’m not creating, I’m a stay-at-home mum raising my little one, working toward building something she’ll be proud of. Out here, we live as close to the land as we can—growing our own food, stuffing our bedding with chicken and duck feathers, and keeping our chooks happy. Burning hats started as a way to channel my love for fires and creativity, but it’s turned into so much more. Any chance I get for a campfire, I’m there, letting the flames fuel my imagination.
